FIVE WEEKS OLD TODAY! DECEMBER 26TH
December 28, 2011
After this week is over, the Christmas tree is coming down and the pups will be moving into the living room into a puppy pen! We are looking forward to their last 3 weeks with us! Time is really flying and they are growing so quickly! They are eating two meals a day of Taste of the Wild and soon we will be starting them on their NuVet Supplements. They are playing hard with each other and not so tenderly either! Pink Head and Pink Back seem to rising to be the Alpha girls of the group. Puppies have been wormed again and now see momma about twice a day. We let her in whenever she indicates that she wants to go in and check on the babies. We have their Aunt Treasure here now too and she likes to check in on them as well. Soon, they will all be playing together when the pups are alittle stronger. We have some new toys such as a small Kong, an unstuffed toy elephant, and a three ring tug of war toy that Santa brought them. We might venture out onto the porch this weekend before it gets cold and play in the ex-pen for a few minutes to expose them to the out of doors and new sights and sounds. They are drinking out of a water bucket now, that is their size and they love to play in the water! You can see why the papers are torn up and not really tidy, as they like to play with them too and tear up the newspapers! They are so fun to watch!
