Legend winning his first points @ 6 months.
Legend is out of our repeat breeding of LoverBoy x Seraph and was born August 15, 2009. He always caught my eye while in the whelping box and was the second pick pup of the litter. He was the first born and very difficult to get started but with persistance, the team got him going and boy are we glad they did. This is a very loving pup that is co-owned with Janet Brant of South Bend, Ind. He went to his very first dog show at 6 months and won his class then, the second day, won his class, went Winners for 2 CH points and then went Best of Winners in a show that was just short of a major. Wow! Congrats to Janet and Legend. Keep your eyes out for this special little boy! Derek Beatty has handled him to all of his AKC Championship Points.
Legend is now retired from showing and has taken on a new adventure. He is working on his Therapy Dog Certificate. He regularly visits with Janet's dad and his friends at their community home.
Update: 2015 Legend's buddy, Janet's dad, has passed away. People in the facility would announce when "Legend is in the Building" Janet and Legend have helped some precious souls have some nice quiet joy, in their final transition. I think this dog was born to help heal and to comfort.
