Are They Really Beginning Week Three?
They are Three Weeks Old on Nov. 12th

December 5 Marks the Two Week Birthday for the puppies!  Transitional Period:  14-21 days

Puppies are growing, growing, growing.  They are vocalizing and exploring their world more everyday.  Their eyes and ears are now open and they do more than eat and poop now!  They walk around, however gingerly, instead of crawling and startle at sudden noises.  They can walk backwards during this week too. They start to paw one another and wag their tails.  We spend a lot of individual time with the pups at this age.  Mommy is less anxious as well when we sit beside the whelping box and play with the pups.  We cut their nails, give them sponge baths and generally love on them.

December 8th Photos.  You can see that they get lots of loving!  This was Savannah's and Dakota's first time seeing the puppies and they were so excited.
